Therese Flynn-Clarke is an experienced Visual Artist and Educator. Therese’s art practice exemplifies a passion for sculptural work and mixed media, and is inspired by the natural world as subject matter and a source of materials. Therese has exhibited widely both locally and interstate and has been involved in a number of community art projects such as Double Vision Artist Exchange, The Homesickness Project, Facilitation of National Basketry Gathering, Qld and as an Artist In Residence and Mentor. Therese has vast experience working in community arts projects and festivals at a wide number of locations and has won awards for her artwork.

Therese has  worked in education and the arts from Early Years programmes to University level. She has also facilitated Professional Development for artists and teachers across the state. Therese has taught for many years as a Primary Arts Specialist teacher and as a class teacher in two states and the Torres Strait.
