Raku Firing Workshop with Claudje Lecompte and the BADCAP team – Saturday 3 October 2020 1pm – 4 pm
Join the BADCAP team for an exciting afternoon of glazing and Raku Firing. Pinch pots will be available for you to glaze and fire, or you may have some bisque fired pots you made at an earlier workshop that you’d like to fire.
COVID 19: This is an outdoor event and in keeping with COVID-19 safe practice this event will be limited to 15 participants. All present will be required to maintain safe physical distancing and hand hygiene. Anyone who feels they may have any of the suit of potential COVID-19 symptoms must not attend the event – participants will recieve a full refund if they need to cancel.
BADCAP made 300 pinch pots and Raku fired most of them at Arts Ablaze Festival in October last year. The event was a highlight of the festival!
Please wear closed in shoes, suitable clothing, a hat and smoke/dust mask. Raku glazes, leather gloves and tools will be available.
Cost: $60 includes 2 pinch pots, Raku glazes and a chance to fire your own special piece. If you participated in the pinch pot workshop on Saturday 5 September 2020 cost is only $50 as you will already have your own pots. For bookings and information:
