Twined Basket with Therese Flynn-Clarke
Make your own little twined basket using plant fibres and basketry techniques. Embellish if desired with seedpods, shells, feathers or beads. Incorporate colour with textiles.
Therese Flynn-Clarke‘s arts practice includes basketry, sculptural fibre art, eco-dyeing and wearable art, ceramics and mixed media, which all reflect her deep connection to the natural world from where her inspiration is drawn. Therese has exhibited widely across Australia, won awards for her art, and has empowered many through her work as an arts educator and tutor, facilitating workshops.
WORKSHOP FEE: $60 per person
NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: Maximum 10
NOTE: Bring: Apron or wear old clothes; scissors or secateurs; spray water bottle; an old towel.
