ARTS ABLAZE FESTIVAL

BADCAP is managing the art workshops and artisan stalls for the 2019 Arts Ablaze Festival to be held in the grounds of the Ramada Resort Kooralbyn Valley in the beautiful Scenic Rim region. The Festival, which follows the Arts Ablaze Conference, will run for 2 days and 2 nights from the 4th-6thOctober, 2019.

Arts Ablaze is a conference and a celebration of regional arts in Queensland managed by the Scenic Rim Regional Council. The event focuses on the TRANSFORMATION of regional communities and arts practice through ATTITUDES, ACCESS, PEOPLE and PLACE

Calling for expressions of interest from artists, creatives, makers and stallholders. We need:

  • Artists to run workshops over the 2 days
  • Artists to demonstrate their creative process with an option to have a stall
  • Market stallholders/ artisans, crafter, tinkerers, local growers and producers to hold a market stall from Friday

Art Activities

We are looking for EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (EOI) from Artists, Creatives, Makers to present:

  • Art Workshops
  • Children’s Workshops
  • Demonstrations (with or without own work for sale)

Market stall holders

We are looking for EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST from Market stall holders- artisans, crafters, makers, tinkerers, artists, local growers and producers

  • Market Stallholders will need to set up at Ramada Resort, Kooralbyn on Friday 4th October by 4pm.
  • They will operate on Friday night until 9pm, Saturday 5th October from 9am-9pm and Sunday 6th October from 9am-4pm.
  • Cost to stallholders is $100.
  • Camping is available at the venue if required.
  • Stall holders are required to have own stalls, power and lighting
  • Stall holders are required to have Public Liability Insurance.
