Birgit is a full-time sculptor who finds designing and creating sculptures and installation are her passions. Her usual medium is stone, but while visiting South America she discovered the beauty and variety of Gourd Art and now loves to share her discovery with students

HALF DAY DURATION: 9 – 11.30AM or 1 – 3.30PM on SATURDAY
PRICE: $50 PER HALF DAY + $20 MATERIALS FEE
DETAILS: Gourds are wonderful products of nature and have been used by ancient cultures all around the world for bowls, dippers, baskets, water containers, musical instruments and ornaments or art. No longer considered a craft, gourd art is now elevated to be exhibited in a variety of galleries.
